In high school, I was voted most likely to start my own business just because I had so many hobbies. I think this started with my theory that there isn’t anything I can’t teach myself how to do if I give myself the time.

So I learned how to make necklaces, and then the beads on the necklaces. And what screams “I’M FROM MAINE!” more than playing mandolin in a bluegrass band? So I did that too. Then I taught myself how to skateboard, and you know what’s similar to skateboarding? Surfing. So that came next.

But there are still so many things I want to do so here are my top picks:

  • write and illustrate a children’s book

  • glass blowing

  • race in an Ironman

  • learn how to do a handstand

  • just generally get better at cooking

If you think of anything I should add to my list I’m all ears.
